Position:

We are seeking a Senior Sales Executive to spearhead the European expansion of iFLUX by driving sales to new heights within our European markets. The ideal candidate will combine extensive sales skills and experience with a certain degree of relevant sector knowledge, in order to deliver a major leap in sales performance this year, and to build a strong pipeline for years to come. This role will shape the future of iFLUX, and the future of evidence-based groundwater management.

Key Result Expectations:

  • Goal first year: Generate 1M in revenue
  • Create a healthy sales pipeline in line with future growth ambitions
  • Take the lead for at least two markets: this means accountability for achieving revenue targets and pipeline growth, and for defining/refining the sales and marketing strategy

Top 5 Competencies / Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of groundwater/hydrogeology and/or one or several of our key markets: soil remediation, drinking water utilities, environmental management, construction dewatering, and/or urban watershed management
  • Proactively drive demand for iFLUX solutions through targeted sales efforts (from prospect listing through initial contact and sales pitches to negotiation and closing)
  • Proven ability to close larger deals (€100-300K deals)
  • Nurture and maintain client relationships while identifying and capitalizing on upcoming projects.
  • Experience in writing winning quotes and tenders
  • Quick learning – proven ability to understand complex/technical subjects


Qualifications:

  • Over 8 years of experience in sales of tailored solutions(projects) preferably within the Drinking Water, Construction, Urban, or Nature industry.
  • Familiarity with the (ground)water and soil remediation industry
  • Exceptional communication skills and a natural curiosity, with the ability to craft concrete project offerings and tenders.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for nurturing client relationships and maintaining business networks
  • Proven ability to work as a team, but drive sales independently.
  • Fluency in English and Dutch, with proficiency in at least one additional language among Spanish, French, or German.
